Meet Therapist

Kelly Knapp

Kelly is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol Drug Counselor (LCADC) in the State of New Jersey. Kelly has earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Marist College and  her Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling with a Specialization in Addictions from Fairleigh Dickinson. Kelly has extensive education, training, and experience in the areas of anxiety and depression, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, severe and persistent mental illness, family systems and biopsychosocial/chemical dependency evaluations. She has worked in the mental health field for over eighteen  years providing individual, couples and family psychotherapy to adults, children, and adolescents. Kelly is skilled in creating a comfortable effective therapeutic alliance with clients in order to achieve their goals.  She utilizes a variety of approaches and therapeutic milieus to meet specific needs.  She approaches therapy from a strength-based and client-centered perspective. Kelly offers outpatient  counseling and substance abuse evaluations for individuals and families. Kelly is committed to the evolution of her clients on their journey to optimal wellness.
